If I were to ask a couple of designers how they approach UX designs, I would be getting a couple of different answers.

There is no standard answer to this but there’s psychology behind every element.

 

There are many psychological factors that play a specific role in each and every designer’s design.

 

Below, I will be explaining a few techniques that are used to appeal certain limitations and desires of our users.

 

1. Time and effort

When commencing coherence in UX design, we must make use of progressive disclosure. This practice gives users enough information to tempt them and offer them more options.

The same goes with product features and details.

 

Tip: It is relevant to show users only what they want to see or need to see, otherwise you risk confusing them with too much information at one time.

Social proof is elucidated as a phenomenon where people reference behaviors of others to guide their own actions.

For instance, whenever a new Smartphone is launched and people line up to buy the product, more people join in and perceive the value of the product.

 

There are different tactics of utilizing social proof online to encourage specific behavioral responses.

a) Reviews

User reviews influence new buyers or potential buyers who are looking for a specific product. Positive reviews will help persuade users to engage in a product. Even negative reviews are helpful because they help add validation to the positive feedback.

b) Social filters. This indicated that users or customers who have viewed similar product to yours have also viewed another product or bought a certain product. If you implement this strategy then you’re bound to do better with your products.

 

 

3) Visual and unconscious processing

 

The last foundation is subconscious processing & visual implementation. Most mental processing occurs on an unconscious level and you could use that to trigger different aspects of your user’s emotions and actions.

It’s no secret that emotions play a large part in decision making so ensure you use this to your advantage.

Now, coming to the visual aspect of UX design you could make use of different fonts, font size, color or even patterns.
